The cat named Splet is going to school for the first time and is very nervous: what if he doesn't make friends there? So, just in case, he hides his pet mouse – Seymour – in his lunchbox and takes him with him to school. The teacher, Mrs. Pea, introduces Splet to the class and starts the lesson. When Seymour jumps out of the box, the kittens do what all cats do – they catch the mouse! Poor Splet! Will he lose both his old friend and all the new ones?! Wise Mrs. Pea intervenes just in time, and her students learn a new, very important lesson… It turns out that school for cats can be very interesting!
